On Sunday I mentioned the anti-baterial lotion that is available outside of hospital rooms; and related it to our thought life.
I liken "foaming in" to preparing our minds before we enter a situation. Don't carry anything into a coversation that could potentially be harmful to the hearers. In order to do that we have to cleanse our minds, then, determine to think on and speak about things that will be uplifting.
After we leave a conversation or a situation be sure to "foam out." To "foam out" means to cleanse our minds of any thing detrimental to our thought life -- negative, critical, hurtful, etc. Foaming out keeps us from infecting others with our thoughts or words.
Ephesians 4: 29 Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. NIV
Have a blessed day!
