Rev. Mark and Jill Mayard
Pastor Mark Maynard has been the Senior Pastor since June, 1990. He is a lifelong resident of Granite City. He and his wife Jill were married in 1987 and have two daughters, Paige and Abbigail.
Pastor Mark stays involved in the community. He currently serves as the Director of the Pastoral Care Board at Anderson Hospital, and a member of the Board of Trustees. He is a Granite City Police Department chaplain, President Elect of the Granite City Rotary and the Vice President of the Coordinated Youth and Human Services board. In addition Pastor Mark is a member of the Guatemala Evangelistic Ministry board, and a regional representative for the Independent Assemblies.
Rev. Harold and Ruth Maynard
Rev. Harold Maynard serves as the Assistant Pastor, since changing places with his son, in June, 1990. He joined the Pentecostal Church of God organization in 1959 and was ordained that same year. During the seven years he was a member of the Pentecostal Church of God, he served as Youth Leader, Presbyter, and Superintendent of the Illinois district. Since that time, he has been associated and worked with the Independent Assemblies, Word of Faith fellowship, and remains a member of the Full Gospel Ministries Association.
During the 50 years he has been on staff at Calvary Life, he has made many missions trips to Mexico, Guatemala, and Haiti. He also made 16 trips to the Holy Land including Israel, Jordan, Egypt, Greece, and Rome.
Rev. Paul and Becky Martin
Paul, otherwise known as “P.J.” started Bridge Builders, which is Calvary's young adults ministry, in 2001. BridgeBuilders continues to grow under his leadership. He married Becky in 1995. They have three children: Peter, Kirstyn and Sophia. Paul is a branch manager for American Eagle Credit Union in Florissant, Missouri..
In 1998, he was ordained as a minister at Calvary Pentecostal Assembly . PJ is currently the Treasurer of the Faith in Action, has also sat on the board of the Community Care Center, and L. Stiles Ministries out of St. Louis, Missouri. He has been involved with The Spirit of Unity Conference's.
Carol and Jim Lindsay
Carol has been involved with children’s ministry and education most of her life. In the early 70’s she started a children’s church at Calvary and the ministry has continued to grow and develop. Carol was a teacher at Triad High School in St. Jacob, and served as the head of the business department until she retired. She has a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Business Education from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. She has also served as an officer of various business and professional organizations.
Carol married Jim in June, 1999. She continues to be heavily involved in the ministry of Calvary Life Church.
