Consecration is the total DEDICATION of our heart,
and it is the RECOGNITION that you are sacred to God
and have RESERVED yourself for His purpose.

Controlled By The Spirit (2-7-10)

Proverbs 25:28

He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls.
NIV - 28 Like a city whose walls are broken down is a man who lacks self-control.

Admonition or Rebuke?

Those who are out of control are VULNERABLE to any enemy.
It isn’t a city without walls, it is a city whose walls have been BROKEN down.
What enemies?

Jesus instituted Communion

Luke 22:15 And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer:

The Passover reveals Jesus

Lamb was slain
Blood was applied
It was a time of deliverance

Communion: The Table

The Table - a PLACE for everyone
Unworthily = IRREVERENTLY

Communion: The Bread

A SACRIFICE for everyone
1 Peter 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

Communion: The Blood

DELIVERANCE for everyone
Matthew 26:28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
Remission = FREEDOM

Connecting to God: Faith (1-24-10)

Faith is the FOUNDATION 0f your spiritual life.

Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Faith gives LIFE to your spirit.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Faith brings REST.

Hebrews 4:9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. 10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.

God's Feelings Towards Us (1-17-10)

11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.

GOD LOVES YOU

GOD SEES YOU AS HIS SPECIAL TREASURE

GOD WANTS TO BE WITH US.
